“Having always been crafty, I never thought I’d need any help, but revamping the whole of my downstairs, including extension and new kitchen was starting to feel overwhelming. She went away to have a little think and came back some time later with all her findings and suggestions of colours and accessories. She also did some amazing research on flooring that was best suited for my dog. I’m so happy I found her when I did. She came over to discuss options or the hallway/ Landing and all the doors - we share the same tastes for bold colours but she gave me the confidence of how to use them in the centre of the house and how to tie everything together. “We had decided to get a professional decorator in. Despite having always painted the house completely white, we felt we needed to challenge our decorator and our colour boundaries.
We had a colour consultation with Nicla, she could immediately feel from being in the house and getting speaking to us that we wanted a urban modern look.
Nicla went away and came back with some mood charts. She had taken everything into account from high traffic areas to also protect the walls from the dogs.
Some of her suggestions where very brave, but we dared to go with ALL of them and love our new funky pad. Nicla opened our eyes to colour and we even added more in places.
